I was raised on country, but my teen years I was a rock and roll gal.  Of course with Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.

I could never get into rap beyond just a couple here and there. I was never a big country person either, but I do enjoy a number of more songs via this genre than rap. Of course some of the songs I'm thinking of are probably a little discredited as a being a little more pop too.

Oh my gosh!!! Country for me.  Cannot stand the rap at all.  Don't understand a word they are saying.  So I listen to country and old rock n roll

Rap! Rap! Rap!!!!!!  I kind of hate country music, no offense to country lovers.  I just don't get it.  But rap music, I get that!  The beat, the lyrics, everything.  Basically, anything that gets you moving I like.  And country does not do that at all!
