New $5.00 Survey

... for the most part I am finding that surveys are bogus for my demographic, which kind of stinks as I would imagine any and all ages and demographics would be of interest to any one marketing in this country but I suppose my money and thoughts are worth less compared to those who do qualify. I just keep plugging away on the things I can complete and take a little longer to reach my goals.

Doubtless companies would prefer that anyone, of any demographic, buy their products/services.  What the survey providers are doing is sorting the market-pool by demographic sampling.  Once they've obtained a statistically-significant cross-section for the demographic criteria they're sorting by, a survey-taker in a 'filled' cross-sectional group gets Dq'd.  It's nothing personal.

This offer was really unfair.  I did the survey and got accepted into the focus group, but I never was sent a link to participate in said group.  My "reward" for doing the survey was therefore revoked.

It isn't my fault they never sent the email, though.

I did the Global GE Survey and got denied and I do not know why.

Same thing happened to me; I was approved for the GE Capital focus group and then denied today without explanation. I checked my email inbox AND junkmail religiously the last month to make sure I didn't miss anything from GE Capital (the follow-up link to the group) and I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING REGARDING this group further. Not one email.

I am not that upset about being denied the funds, but I am upset that they took my information and I qualified for the group without being compensated. It makes me think that this is their general protocol, get a bunch of applicant's info and then never pay a dime. Of course MANY people will apply, because it's a $5 reward (allegedly).  Without being notified at all, it makes it look like a complete scam for info.  IMHO.

I got the GE one...qualified for the first part....but then never got anything more...there was to be a second part I had to participate in or the $5 would be revoked.....and it got revoked...said I never did the second part....but how was I suppose to do the second part??? Where was it??  I got no email, no notices or anything through FC....nothing....I am really confused...I would have loved to have completed this or any others..any info would really be appreciated....if I get the chance to do something like this again I don't want to screw it up and not get it...or get revoked....ugghh

Ok I got this one and got paid for it, but have not receive any email from them yet, I have look, does anyone know where the email comes from?  In case I am not seeing it.

Last time same thing happpened tome I got credit it for a $9.00 one, and the disqualified me for not goin to the forum but I never got the email that allows me to go in.  It will suck if I get the money taken back for no confirming an email that I never saw.

They said you should get the email sometime this week. I haven't gotten it either yet. The exact thing happened to me with that $9.00 survey. I never got an email that told me where I needed to go and then eventually I got the $9.00 taken away because I didn't participate.

Don't approve so many people, and for those that they do approve, they should IMMEDIATELY follow-up with an e-mail about how to continue on with the focus group.

Today I did a fusion survey that was supposed to be about smoking and supposed to be 10 min. 20 min later and all kinds of questions I was told I dont qualify.

so I get 1 c.


I believe it could have been more fair and honest as to what it was supposed to be. As I dont qualify for any of them since I am only getting a pension and dont have fancy gadgets and kids in the home. They let me go on for a long time to say you dont qualify.

Yeah, mine was revoked too.   I made sure my account had over $30 last month, so my payment wouldn't get revoked since I knew this was going to be denied. It's just a crappy setup....they should give you money for doing the panel qualification survey. Then, if they want you to continue, give you money afterwards if you complete the second part.
