Why I made the decision to stop trying surveys
« on: May 11, 2012, 02:36:49 pm »
I'm a pretty patient person and not much gets to me.  I usually try the surveys and if I get DQd, no biggie.  But, the last two days I have tried all the daily surveys, including the FC surveys (which for some reason were plentiful, as opposed to other days).  Not only did I spend 20 minutes on 2 surveys (answering the same q's several times, btw) before I was DQd, I didn't even get the $.01 FC says you will get if you don't qualify.

Even though I do all these activities during my morning "Today Show Multitask" time, I decided it isn't worth the frustration I feel when I give honest answers (time and time again, sometimes) and then get disqualified after the 3rd time I answer that I don't have any kids at home.

SO.... from now on, I will do the mail, search bar, daily PTC, watch videos and to the "human intelligence" tasks and only do the surveys from FC that are emailed to me.

i think I'll be happier!!

While I did attempt all five of those $1-$3+ surveys presented yesterday and did complete one, (FC Survey: Brand Opinion Survey 2012-05-10 $1.00 Approved), the other four DQ'd and didn't credit the $.04 for me either.  Sometimes that relatively-new function glitches, sometimes those surveys don't have the little stack-of-pennies icon indicating a DQ'd consolation credit.  I could be mistaken however, at least a few of those DQ'd four did have such an icon and I figured if credit doesn't show up later, I'm out only $0.04, (so, there goes next month's mortgage payment?  Nah).

Even though I do all these activities during my morning "Today Show Multitask" time, I decided it isn't worth the frustration I feel when I give honest answers (time and time again, sometimes) and then get disqualified after the 3rd time I answer that I don't have any kids at home.

Such choices remain with the individuals who make them.  Some members like the (tedious?) human tasks, some don't.  Some gravitate to the surveys, others eschew them.  Either way, the objective is to increase earnings on FC, (or, fiddle around on the forums - or both).  May your chosen endeavors result in profit.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I have never qualified for a Fusion Cash survey. I gave up a long time ago and it is ok. I earn FC money other ways such as the paid to click and forum. I do not make a lot of money but I get to cash out every three months and I am very happy with what I do make.  ;D Some people do well with surveys but others do not. I am someone who does not do well with Fusion Cash surveys. I continue to try the surveys offered by Fusion Cash but continue to not qualify. However, I usually DQ fast and earn a penny.

My problem is that I work in market research which kicks me out of many surveys on several sites. When it is all said and done, I prefer having my p.t. job in market research rather than making money doing surveys.

I   Fusion Cash and am glad with what I can do on the site as well as the money that I have made.

I gave up on surveys quite some time ago. Unless I am really bored and I have time, I'd rather not waste time just to be DQ'd. I will usually try the ones that are delivered to my email, I have found more success with those but just like the others say to eachs own. I too cash out every 3 months and that is good enough for me. I just see FC as bonus money and use that for birthdays and holidays

I like to cashout monthly and that's just won't happen if I don't do surveys

I haven't had too much trouble with FC Surveys in the past, but lately it seems it DQs me INSTANTLY. I don't even answer any questions. It just immediately says I don't qualify. I do not like that at all. :(

I had some good luck with surveys in the beginning, but haven't been able to qualify for one since the middle of last week. I still think it's worth it to give them a try here and there, especially if I've got a little extra time after I do my daily tasks. These days I'm just happy if I can get one or two a week, but I don't "bank" on them. Good luck, gang!

The honeymoon does end rather early with the surveys, they seem to credit well when you first start but then dwindle, I try them now only occassionaly  and have stopped being upset if I can't qualify. After many hours of trying to qualify it has just been easier to not go down that road. I do try to do all the other available opportunities, but have also had trouble with the toolbar search as well, it locks up my computer and I have to restart it several times a day and sometimes when I do restart, it still has the search page come up and treats it as a new search and then DQ's it as an invalid search thinking it is a repeated search, not too happy about that, last month it did that on the second batch that I was trying to do and kept me locked out for the remainder of the month, not member friendly, if it is not going to be fair to the members then why have it? This month I have 50 searches and only 8cents earned for 15 days into the month. not good.

I only attempt the surveys now sporadically. I used to spend hours trying to qualify, but I also grew frustrated. I only try one every so often, but just this week one approved for $1.00 so I was extremely happy.  :)

  :bunny: Hi this is greenmellojello:
Regarding your decision to stop taking surveys. I can get frustrated to, but it's all about being patient.
I know how you feel when they don't give you credit for the ones you do. Don't give up....all you have to do is... go to each one of them everyday, don't skip a day, and if you do everyone on here once a day you will definitely get credit.
I am getting paid for the majority that i am doing now because i do each one of the surveys everyday. You can only do each one once per 24 hrs.
Then you do all of them again the next day, believe me, you will start getting credit then. If you don't bother with the surveys alot you are not going to get the amount stipulated.... I hope this helped a little, if you have any other ques. feel free to chop it up with me, Im here to help....... :peace: :peace: :peace:

I used to get a little frustrated with the surveys. At the same time, I wasn't as persitent in the beginning as I am now. I usually qualify for at least one survey a day, and on the days I don't, I just wait until the next day and try again. Persistence is the key for me, and also attempting the surveys when I'm relaxing. That way I don't get frustrated.

I agree that persistence is the key to the daily surveys. Time is also a factor as well. For the last few days, I have simply been too busy with work to even attempt the surveys. Sometimes it's a question of priorities. As soon as I have enough fee time, I'll be back at it!

That's usually the situation for me as well however, yesterday was an atypical day for suveys:

As an experiment, I attempted all eight survey offers today, (the 8th; Global Test Market dq'd  at first & the 9th; "FC survey $1-$3+" didn't offer me a survey yet but, if it does before the end of today, 05-18-12, I'll go for that too).  Subsequent results thusfar (taking one hour to complete):

MyThoughtCounts - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $1.00 Approved
Samplicio.us Daily Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.90 Approved
SurveyHead - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.65 Approved
SSI Daily Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.55 Approved
MyView Daily Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.50 Approved
LiveSample Daily Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.70 Approved
FC Daily Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.70 Approved
GlobalTestMarket Survey - 05/18/2012 2012-05-18 $0.50 Approved
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
