My mother passed away in 1999.  I miss her so much.  She was a wonderful mother.  I wish everyday that I could talk to her just one more time.  Yesterday I went to Church with my daughter and son in law and then that took me out to eat afterwards.  I was so nice.  We got much needed rain also and that was a blessing.  I had to go into work at 3 pm so as soon as we got through eating I had to go in and work.  I thank God everyday for the blessings he has bestowed upon me.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I understand what you are going through, 7 years ago I lost my grandmother.  This woman raised from the time I was 7, and stayed by side until I was 24 almost 25, when she passed away.  Through time I have learned how to deal with her passing, each year it gets little easier.  But I really get down around mothers day, because I really miss her more than I can even express.  All I can say hold on to the good memories, grieve and mourn as needed.  But don't get too emotionally drowned in it to the point of depression, cause that is not a positive place to be.  Know she is now resting in a peaceful place, where there no more pain or suffering.  And you will make it through....

You never stop missing your parents after they're gone but it does get less painful.  My dad has been gone since 1976 and my mother since 1988.  My husband lost his parents in 1991 and 1994.  We were talking yesterday about whether given the chance to win the lottery or get an hour with your parents again.  We both chose the hour with our parents  :angel11:
