My mother was a stay at home mom and she did fantastic with 7 children. I wonder how many people she has affected and will affect by how well she raised us. My wife was also a stay at home mom. Our children are well adjusted and successful thanks to her hard work. God bless moms. :notworthy:

I don't think there is anything wrong with being a stay at home mom if the husband makes enough money to support the family.  At the same time though the term enough money is relative.  I he makes enough to support the family in a moderately comfortable way, then I would think the wife could work and they would be able to live even more comfortably.

So it is all about how much the husband makes and what kind of life the two individuals wish to lead.  To each his own.

I am a stay at home mom to 5 boys and there is no more important job.  My husband works two jobs so mthat i can stay home and raise our boys, wouldn't have it any other way, and neither would he.

My mother was a school teacher who loved her job and had lots of help from her older sisters when it came to taking care of me and my brother.  I live far from close family, so I feel more comfortable staying home with my kids instead of working outside of home.   I may work later part-time when they all are in school.  Kids grow up too fast and I really do treasure the time I can spend with mine while they are still little.

I was a stay home mom until my kids were all in school. That is something I will never regret.

Yes I would agree its hard now a days moms have to work to support the finances =( but I think its good to raise your kids keep a clean house and feed your family nutritious food !!! With moms working hard for family to have childcare, and good nutritious food moms are tired after long hours to cook !! Plus life is short spend it with your kids, those bonds never go away. And thats one reason children here in America are detached from there parents they are separated at such a young age that they are detached !!!
