mountains or beaches?
« on: May 23, 2012, 02:09:47 pm »
Beaches are flat but have waves that are an amazing sound healing to me.
Mountains are beautiful with winding roads and great views.

which do you prefer? mountains or beaches?

I enjoy them both, depending upon the season, the crowds and for reasons other than yours.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I also enjoy both, but I prefer mountain scenery.  I've greatly enjoyed my trips around the west of the US driving past the mesas in west Texas and northern New Mexico, the Grand Canyon, Rockies, Cascades, Yosemite, etc.

I'd take the mountains any day. I prefer the colder weather, and the view is incredible.

he mountains, the air is so refreshing and cool and the views can go on for miles and always changing. Went up in them a few years ago on horseback. Boy was that great. Just got away from everything. Would love to do it again someday.

I like both as both remind me of God's awesomeness. The mountains majestic and the oceans wonderful sounds.

Such vistas cannot accurately be attributed to some hypothetical supernatural being(s).  Keeping in mind that "faith" does not constitute evidence and that there is no valid evidence to support such attributions.  The same would apply if "forest sprites" were attributed with any
"awesomeness" in regards to the mountains or, "sea nymphs" in regards to the beaches.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

When I think mountains I think cold and I am not much for cold weather. I prefer the beach if it is warm and sunny.

I can't really choose, because I love both.  Mountains in the winter, and beaches in the summer!!!

I really do love the beach, but I'd have to say mountains. You can't go mountain biking at the beach that's for sure :)

I have to go with mountains.  Mountains are cooler, the scenery is great, and you can't track in sand from mountains.   ;D
