Favorite comedian is probably Will Ferrell.  Is it bad that I still find the silly slapstick humor funny in my 30's?? I haven't grown up obviously.

Well, my favorite comedian was George Carlin. He was the ultimate for me.

I'm old school....grew up loving George Carlin....

I got to see Carlin live in California, years ago ... any imitators fall well short of his humorous sense of the absurd ...

"Religion easily has the greatest :bs: story ever told. Think about it, religion has actually convinced people that there's an INVISIBLE MAN...
LIVING IN THE SKY...who watches every thing you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever 'til the end of time...but he loves you!"
-- George Carlin, (from his album "You Are All Diseased")
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Steve Martin still makes me laugh. I have liked him since the beginning which was a long time ago. My favorite movie is "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." ;D

I have always loved George Carlin.............the Hippy Dippy Weather man with temperatures from around the country        36,  81,  55,   68.       Or his sportscaster with some scores from tonight's games  10-12,  2-3.  Just random numbers, you didn't know where they were from.    Also Bill Cosby.......He was in charge of breakfast, the children were begging for cake.  He thought about it and decided it was a perfect breakfast, it had eggs, flour, milk.....The children are shouting "DAD IS GREAT, HE LET'S US EAT CAKE.........and then the Mother comes in.......       I have  seen a new (to me anyway) guy on the comedy channel who says we should quit putting warning signs on obvious things...do not put electrical things in water, hot coffee is HOT.....it would be a way of thinning out the human herd.

I really like Eddie Izzard in Dressed to Kill stand up video. His others are OK but not nearly as good in my opinion.
