I usually make all my online purchases through PayPal.
Let them handle any issues in regards to failure to deliver and me getting my back money.
Also make purchases from reputable sources or within your country, that'll help with ease of shipping or refunding.

I, too, have bought quite a few things online over the years.  I started with buying books for college years ago and have progressed from there.  When it comes to things that are breakable or items that might needs returning I am careful about checking return and refund policies.  Also, for the safety of my transaction I make sure I am dealing with a reputable company.  For the most part my transactions have gone well.  I did have a difficult transaction with a printer ink company that took months to resolve because the print cartridges they sent were either leaking or half empty.  Fortunately, I was able to resolve it.  Good luck!

I purchase things like electronics and computer parts from online companies such as newegg and tigerdirect.  I have never had any problems dealing with them and I know that in the case of newegg they will actually intervene on your part if you have difficulties with warranties or rebates or such in the rare event such things arise.

Yes, I buy a variety of things online and have been doing so for sometime. I always try to buy from reputable companies. There have been things that I have recieved that were broken, but I have had no problem getting it corrected or refunded. I have also bought stuff that I have been taken on and there again I have had some refunded but not all. I enjoy shopping online from the privacy of my home, because I don't have to worry about spending a long time in the checkout lane.

I buy alot online and have not experienced a problem so far except occasional delays in shipping.   Often if the local store is out of stock, I order online and have it shipped for pickup at that store, thus no shipping charges.

I've bought things online here and there.  A recent move though is going to force me to start making more online purchases for our household.  It's going to be more cost efficient for me to make purchases online rather drive to the store.  Gas prices are insane.  Sites like Wal-greens and Alice.com are making it practical and less time consuming as well.  I know the mail lady isn't going to be happy with all the packages coming to our house...gonna ad more work to her load I'm sure.  But for our family shopping online is definitely the way to go.

I used to be a little nervous about buying things online, but I've had great experiences and it sure beats having to go to a physical store in town every time I want to buy something, especially with gas prices being so steep.

As long as you buy from a reputable company (i.e. Amazon or another retailer) or from a highly rated ebay seller, etc., you should be fine.  I have purchased computers, cell phones, tablets, and mp3 players online and have had good experiences every time.  The only negative experience I had was with a company called Wirefly, but that is because they didn't send one of the phones and it took an extra few weeks to get it straightened out.

Yea, I buy mostly all of my clothes and CDs online. The clothes I buy usually fit well. I haven't really had any problems except for a cracked CD case that I got from Borders Bookstore. :/

I try not to buy very much online! I have had bad luck in the past on CC Fraud. The only way it was was through the Internet. I try to buy as much as I can in Brick and Mortor outlets but, sometimes I have to order certain things online. I am very restrictive of what I order online though!!
