is it that you just want to lose weight for the summer or do you want to keep the weight loss for the long term. Some people try to lose weight so they can strut their stuff during the summer but once that time is over they end up back to their old habits and gain the weight back plus a few extra pounds. Realisticly most people can't be in the gym 24/7 but its always the little things that make a big difference like taking the stairs instead of elevators, portion control, etc.

Good luck to you!   I am sure that if you set your mind to it you can do it!  I need to be doing the same!    We just got back from camping for a week at the beach....Can you say.....eat, eat, eat!

Well, i want to get in shape for summer, but i also want to keep it even afterwards. :P

But it's already so difficult for me and it's only day 2. On top of that, i already broke my diet. -___- At like a pig today..  :crybaby2:

We have the same weight loss goal, so far I've lost 17 of the 30 lbs.  I always gain back a couple then have to relose it.  I weigh myself often to keep up with how strict/lienient I have to be on my diet and workout.  If you do hit a plateau, just switch up your workout and things you eat b/c that just means your body has gotten use to everything you are doing.  Also try colon cleansers, they work for me. Good luck with your goal!!

I haven't heard of that, but omitting sweets, chips and fatty foods works!

It just takes seriously hard work and exercise. No easy way out of it. Just eat right and push yourself to your limits.

If you have hit a plateau, try changing up your exercise or diet. Your body adapts and might just need something different.

Colon cleanses are great!  We've used the Blessed Herbs one, and also the 3 Day Colon Cleanse.  A Liver/gallbladder flush will help with the weight, as the liver needs to be clean to aid in digestion and elimination.  It's gross but it works.

Our daughter is doing the P90X.  For the time being, we like doing Zumba.  We love dancing, so it's perfect for cardio and toning.   We want to try the Brazil Butt Lift by Beachbody too.  It's an butt kicker, for real, I've heard.

Also, the most important thing in weight loss is to make sure the thyroid, pancreas and other glands are working optimally as well.  If the thyroid (thyroid T3 hormone controls metabolism) is low, then weight loss will be much harder.  Find a good source for Nascent iodine.  Take seaweed extract, or buy fresh kelp and put liberally on salads.

Raw organic foods are a must in any diet.
