My family is not near, so I buy all their gifts online and get them mailed directly.  Particularly nice on Amazon with free shipping.  I haven't been 'taken' yet, but you do have to be careful with your private information.  I do a lot of comparison shopping online before I purchase locally

I shop for coins and bullion. You can practically buy anything online these days. I hope I don't see anything extreme put up for sale, if you know what I mean.

I love urban novels, so I love to shop for those online. I also like to purchase my traveling needs online such as flight, car rentals, and hotels.

Sometimes jeans, acrylic sweaters (depends on sleeve length) some are unreal!  Long underwear for my two sons, because I can't find the kind I want where I live.

I try to buy local as much as I can.  If I buy something online it is usually something odd that I can't get nearby.  Online shopping is great, but I still like to support my community as much as I can.

I buy an assortment of things online to save money, but I mostly shop for electronics and review possible travel deals. I periodically request perishable items, but not very often.

I enjoy online shopping at stores online. My main items are all natural supplements.

I use to buy everything in a brick and mortar store, but not anymore now I only shop online. Amazon is my favorite site and usually has great deals and products I can't find anywhere else. The number one reason I shop online is that I don't drive and therefore find it easier to have things shipped to my home than trying to go out and buy things in a brick and mortar store.

While there are some inherent risks to shopping online, like stated above, I don't feel it's any different than shopping in a physical environment (as you can also lose/forget your card, get robbed, etc.).  I purposefully try and buy everything online because most of it is tax-free and I have the freedom of searching for the cheapest price all at the comfort of my own pace and in my own home.  Brick and mortar retailers need to have sales just to even compete with the everyday prices of the online environment.

I hate to say it because I know it can work a hardship on the brick/mortar stores, but==shopping online has worked out fabulously for me.  This is especially true of holiday shopping.  I am a fan of Amazon as well as Deep Discount for DVDs and Joann for craft items.  And (knock on wood) I've never had any issues.

When I earn enough points on Swagbucks, I redeem them for a gift card, then go to Amazon and purchase video games.
