I heard some stores are closing.  They must have problems.

I have bought several items from them before...but nothing lately!    I can usually find better deals somewhere else!

It's been a hit or miss for me.  I have found knowing someone whom works there is to your benefit.  I also know that if you are buying a computer or a high dollar purchase, you do have some ability to bargain or haggle.  This is the same at HH Gregg.  The sticker price is not the bottom sale price, thus the salespersons can make a commission.  In general the warrenties are never worth the money---unless it's on a cell phone, always get that (new battery, dropped phone, etc).  I also like the finance options & rewards....really nice if the whole family contributes in collecting the rewards.

The ones in the Kansas City Mo. area have all closed. I have never been in one.

Only when the store has a big sale, but other than that, no. It's expensive to buy quality products, and this recession isn't making it any easier. It comes down to personal preferences.

I love Best Buy,  we get most of our merchandise from them.

I love the store and was thinking of stopping by this week, thinking of purchasing an ultra laptop.  I did not know that the sales agent could negotiate the price.  THANKS!

I like it well enough. I've never had any problems with it.

No I will never go to Best Buy again. The after service support is horrible.
I am not surprised that they are having problems. Maybe K-mart will buy them out too... ;)

I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

They are expensive. Don't by cables there for anything. You can go online and order from one of the companies that specialize in that. You can get alot for your money that way. Their staff has always been nice everytime that I have been there.
