Fusioncash.com VS Fusioncash.net

I've been typing the extension .COM every time I've been to this site. And today I ran across a link to it for .NET and I got scared. I thought someone was tricking me. So I immediately went here and even though I typed .COM it changed to .NET and I was relieved. I had no idea the site was really .NET but they bought .COM as well.

Well, glad I got all that straight. Wonder if anyone else regularly uses the .COM?

It’s always under Fusioncash.net. When I was a newbie at the beginning I thought it was .com too whenever I wanted to access the site from the search engine.

I didn't know it defaulted over to the .net I've just always used that. Glad it does though so people don't get confused

I have the site bookmarked also but I usually come here form my daily email link so I don't have to go to anything else. that is good to know though.

I've always typed in fusioncash.net and would've had questions arise myself if I would ever see the .COM part but I guess it only makes sense for them to purchase the .COM and the .net as well.  But even years ago when I came across this site and never joined up I remember it being the fusioncash.net.  Weird people are doing the opposite lol

You are welcome to use any domain you wish when visiting FC, but you'll always end up on fusioncash.net.
The reason for this is "historical": when we first launched in 2005, we had just fusioncash.net and that's where we built the site.  A year or so later, we were able to negotiate the purchase of fusioncash.com from its existing owner.  Since all the infrastructure was built around fusioncash.net, we just forwarded fusioncash.com to it and continued that with the other alternate domains above.
