Yes, our family did the same and it was a blast, however, we were on vacation and I don't know if I would want to do it daily... but maybe I would???

I've never tried it because it has always looked intimidating to me.  I might be willing to try it though, with some convincing or reassurances that everything would go well.  hehe

Not since camp way back in the 50's but it sure was fun then  :D  This was on a small river in Missouri so probably not quite the same as you experience but very exciting as a kid.

No, but I sure wish I could. I think it'd be really fun. Well, I probably couldn't do it now but maybe 10 years ago I could have. I don't think I'd want to go down a crazy river though, nothing too dangerous. Slower pace, not very rough water would be more to my liking with maybe a little bit of wild water.

I went Whitewater rafting back in the 80's in the Pocono's. I was laughing so hard I almost fell out of the raft. I am a little older now, dont think I could handle it now.

I went white water rafting with my family on the Zambezi River between Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia (in Africa). It was awesome....the only down side was that we had to climb up a mountain with the raft afterwards to catch a flatbed truck that took us back to the base camp.

We live in the heart of some of the best, and most dangerous, white water rafting in the world...in Colorado.  Sadly we only get out once every three years or so.  The last time I went rafting was a three day bachelor party in the heart of the Rockies.  We took canoes to get to this spectacular, scary ravine and tore it up!  The canoes were so laden with beer that we thought that they would sink!  To kill our hangovers we found a really cool deep river with a high cliff next to it.  You could count to four, after jumping off, before you would hit the water and another three to come to the surface.

Sometime ago I went white water rafting thru a river with my friends. With my life jacket on, it was a real adventure...a very dangerous one!
