Fourth of July Plans
« on: July 02, 2012, 01:28:41 pm »
What are your plans for the Fourth of July?  Looks like we are going to head out to the lake and cool off, cook a brisket, and watch the fireworks over the lake.

I don't have any plans this year, again. The past 2 years (maybe 3, not sure) I haven't really had anything to do. I tried to do a cook out last year, ended up doing it a few days early. Turned into me just cooking dinner and enough extra to last a few days & that was it. I always try to catch a little bit of fireworks, because there is usually at least one person living somewhere around me who will set off fireworks so I try to watch what I can see through the tree line. Lol

Huge bbq at our house then off to go watch the fireworks.  Relax and just have fun with family and friends.

This year stinks that it is in the middle of the week. Plan on working overtime at the hospital. Plus we have ban on burning and fireworks as we have had NO RAIN and we NEED it desperately!

I was planning to go to DC to watch the fireworks, but because of the heat wave and weather they might not do it. :(

I will be working from the morning to 9 at night and then I will be going to see the fireworks after that.  I do get to walk in the parade in our town though to sorta celebrate, if that counts.
