Andy Griffith will be missed.
« on: July 03, 2012, 10:25:47 am »
I was saddened to read of Andy Griffith passing away this morning.  He was 86.  So many of us enjoyed his "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Matlock" series.

I grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show.I must have seen every episode a 100 times by now. Matlock was one of my mothers favorites and we would watch it together almost every day until she passed away last year. I will really miss Andy, he was one of the all time greats.

I was sad to hear the news, too.   I haven't seen it in a long time, but I used to love watching Matlock with my family.

I too grew up watching Andy and the mayberry folks.  I can only wish his family the best and assure them that whatever rewards he gets he has earned them many times over.  May the peace that passes all understanding rest upon those of us who must remain behind while he journeys on.

I was sad when I had heard he has passed away.  I still watch the Andy Griffith show and Matlock and always will.  He was a great actor and he will be sadly missed by everyone that saw his shows.

I remember Andy, too, because I'm a little bit old.  He was an ideal father figure, from my point of view.  RIP Andy!

Have a great day!

I will miss him. Even my 8 yr old has seen the Andy Griffith show. No disrespect to him but I actually thought he was older than 86.  But he will be missed and from what people said who worked with him he was a nice man
