No a/c so we keep lots of fans going. I also wet my hand with cold water and wipe it on the back of my neck occasionally. Drinking lots of ice water!

I feel very sorry for you :o... It was 103 here today, and tomorrow it's supposed to be (at least) 106 degrees. A/C and fans constantly running... poor electric bill  :BangHead:

I had some free nights at a hotel so I turned up my AC, shut down my household and came to stay cool for a few days!  Not only are the rooms free, but it is a moneymaker since I can save on my electricity bill!  Got to be creative when you can!

It has been over 100 degrees for a couple of weeks now.  I don't remember when it has been this hot this long.  I work at Walmart so I don't have to work in the heat and I keep my AC on at home.  I feel sorry for the people that work in factorys.  I did before I retired the first  time and it was always hotter inside than it was out.  Hope everyone has a great day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

As someone who USED to work for a Utility, if you are not home all day because you work, there is no need to cool the house as when you are home!  Raise the thermostat a few degrees and when you come home you can lower it if you want.  THUS saving you money and not putting a strain on the system with unnecessary usage!  (My company would be so proud of me…)  That being said, IT IS HOT!!!!

It's 101 here.  We were out of power for several days after the recent storms and boy did we miss that AC.

Not sure where you live but hope the humidity is not to high. That really makes it hard to stay cool. Have a great summer
