And I seal this promise with this sign: I have placed my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of my promise until the end of time, to you and to all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will be seen in the clouds, and I will remember my promise to you and to every being, that never again will the floods come and destroy all life. Then God told ...

There's no evidence, (the "bible" does not constitute evidence; it constitutes hearsay), that some hypothetical egregore "told" anyone, anything.  They've merely claimed this, sans substantive evidence, on the basis of either blind faith or, psychosis, (which are essentially equivalent).

Those are delusions, based upon empty faith.  Rainbows have a non-religious basis of manifestation in atmospheric light refractions ... but then, that's too complicated for someone who'd prefer to simply declare "g-ddidit".
