Would you stop to pick up a penny?

My dad always said that if you find money laying on the ground, it is a sign of good things to come.  If you pick it up, that is.  It's kinda not smart to leave a freebie lying around. That's why I like this site so much!

I agree, remember who you're asking. 

Pennies can also be signs from loved ones who have passed on.  My dad sends me pennies, and sometimes other coins, all the time.

I might if the mood struck me. They say it is luck. If I was in that frame of mind, I would pick it up, hoping for good luck

I still pick up pennies. I don't care if people think it is weird or stupid or if I look needy or what. It all adds up... it's quicker to pick that up than to do the 2 cent email on here...

...The other day I was following a guy out of a grocery store and he dropped all of the pennies he had on the ground.  Made me wonder if he was trying to help the needy or maybe he just did not like carrying some much change. 
...What do you think?  I have a friend who thinks it is lucky to find a penny, heads up.

I absolutely stop to pick up a penny.  It's an opportunity to express gratitude for every cent that comes my way!

Only if the penny was heads up and looking shiny! But I prefer to pick up a quarter.
