Yes I would, but only if it's not in a place that is visibly really dirty. I don't believe in throwing money away; even if it's a penny.

I generally do stop and pick up any coins that may be on the ground.  If it drops from someone I know, I will usually give it to them.

I personally do not worry to much about dropping my change or passing by any unless quarters are involved or I specifically need it at the moment.

...The other day I was following a guy out of a grocery store and he dropped all of the pennies he had on the ground.  Made me wonder if he was trying to help the needy or maybe he just did not like carrying some much change.
...What do you think?  I have a friend who thinks it is lucky to find a penny, heads up.
...Peace be with you.  :) Della

Yea I believe it's lucky to pick up a penny. I alwayus do only heads up, my husband actually picks up all change.

Yes, I would.  Enough of those found pennies can add up to dollars when saved in a can or jar.  Some people feel it is beneath then to do so, but the red cent has helped a lot of people.

I'm willing to pick up any penny that I find on the ground. It may not be worth it to someone else but, it is for me. Believe it or not, I was lucky enough to find $40 by a sidewalk when I went up north to visit my aunt. So, you will be surprise what you can find on the ground :)

I usually don't like change but if I see a penny I always pick it up, because I do believe they get you good luck.
