No. My last video took about 45 minutes to load for some reason, but it did upload. Maybe you should try rebooting your computer and clearing your cache and cookies, it will sometimes make your computer run faster, which will make the uploads not as slow. I have tried this several times and it has worked. Good Luck!

downloading? do you mean uploading? I don't use youtube for anything but viewing but my brother uses it for the rest and hasn't had any issues as of late.

it maybe too many pages open sometimes that makes things upload a lot slower then usally

I am not talking about uploading videos, I am talking about downloading videos to your computer and putting them on a disc for your own to have. I use to do this but now for some reason I can't. I use ANT.com toolbar.

I assume from the topic title that you're downloading from youtube?

I know that google/youtube is CONSTANTLY changing and/or adding new ways of blocking us from doing this.....

just a thought, maybe that's got something to do with it.

Google "can't download youtube", and you'll find out if anything new has happened to hinder doing this lately.

What browser do you use? There are a few apps you can download for Firefox, like Download Helper, that let you download You-tube videos. Real Player lets you download them with Internet Explorer. And I'm pretty sure Google Chrome has an app for that as well.

Yes, there are lots of apps for downloading youtube videos, but if they've added any new methods to block the downloading, the apps will not work until someone finds a work-around (the apps eventually catch up with the blockers and then the cycle starts again)

Well, that situation doesn't really parallel the measures/countermeasures paradigm because the blind-faithers haven't come up with any viable 'countermeasure' to reasoning.  The irrational non-reasoning of 'the bible says so' sans evidence doesn't counter logic at all.
