warehouse club usually is cheaper if you buy a lot, it usually comes with large package instead of selling individual. Grocery sells much smaller package and comes with individual

I'm only shopping for two people, so a regular grocery store is fine for now.

I do both. It really just depends on what I need and how much of it I need. But I do love warehouse clubs.

Warehouse club.  The items are cheaper per unit and just cheaper overall.  However, I do notice that grocery stores are sometimes cheaper and have better variety of fruits and veggies so I go there sometimes as well.  Each serves its own purpose I guess, but the warehouse is still more consistent with their prices.

i do a combination of both.  There are items I get at the warehouse store on a regular bi-monthly (sometimes more or less often) basis and then shop the ads for the local grocery stores each week to see who has what on sale.  It works out to be an economical way to keep the budget down and our local warehouse store has cheap hot dogs/sodas so I can always count on a cheap lunch out on those days.  Or even a latte or frozen yogurt if I'm not up for lunch!  Also, do big buys like tires/batteries at the warehouse store because prices/warranty are wonderful and honored nationwide.  Thanks for your topic!

I love my Sam's club, I do save a lot.  I do not buy everything at the store because there are things I do not need to buy in bulk.

I shop at grocery stores mostly. However, I get my diapers and cleaning supplies, as well as some meats at Sam's Club. I'm a member of both BJ's and Sam's, and from what I've seen, Sam's has better prices than BJ's, and carry more name brands.

I shop at both.  Bulk for non-perishable items.  I am the queen of coupons so I do most of my shopping and savings at regular grocery stores.  But when the bulk stores have sales you just cannot beat the prices.  It makes a difference if you have room to store the bulk items too.   In late August and September I like to start stocking up on items I will need for the holidays.  Baking items, paper goods etc.  Then when the holidays are here I don't have to shop for or put out the money for these necessity items.

I use grocery stores or Super Target.  As a single, I wouldn't buy enough bulk at a warehouse store to justify the membership.  I'd consider using a warehouse store if there was no membership fee.  I do see the benefits of warehouse stores for larger families though.

We shop at both.  Depends on what we're buying.  Fruits and veggies are better at sam's club.

Grocery store. it's closer while sam's club is maybe half hour away. I do like the quantity of the products at the warehouse stores but I don't get the membership stuff. Why do they have that for warehouses? Walmart is just closer for us.

I am looking to be a member of Sam's Club, but for now I shop at local grocery stores. I dislike Wal-Mart, so I avoid it like the plague!! lol
I mostly shop at Target, Harp's, Dillions and some stores in the mall and occasionally, Food 4 Less. I also shop at my local Farmer's Market whenever I can and buy some fresh meat from farmers in my area. I think I save some money that way and the food tastes a lot better too! My husband and I will go to Sam's Club when we have a one day free pass that I get online, but that is really it. I sometimes wonder if there is really any benefits are not from buying in bulk.  :dontknow:
