Yesterday I went to a check cashing place n let me tell u wat happen next. So I went to a check cashing place yesterday to cash my FC check n when I went in I was da only one there n they was only one worker there so I went up to da window n I told her I like to cash dis check n she said wat is FC about n I told her about   Fusion Cash n I told her wat it is n than she  look  at  it for 1 minute she say dis check is fake n I was like wat da heck I was kinda upset so I left n  I told my mom to go another check cashing place n that one was closed n than I went to another one n guess wat I got my money so FC is a real site n Im happy it wasnt fake I guess that worker was either upset that her co woker left early n she couldn't or she was being a lazy worker. Either way Im very happy. :) ;D

Yeah, there's a lot of skepticism at check cashing places.  Some of it stems from the fact that the check is drawn on Bank of the West, which does not have a presence outside of a handful of western states.  But a couple years back the checks were drawn on Bank of America and we still had the occasional complaint similar to this one.

If you are the worker who cashes a fake check, I imagine your boss comes down pretty hard on you when it bounces.  It could easily make you extra careful about low-mid value checks from banks you don't recognize.

Nonetheless, our checks are 100% valid and can be verified by calling the phone number printed on the check.  Our bank is also registered with some check cashing verification networks, so some (but not all) check cashing locations can scan and verify a check on the spot.

Credit Unions can be skeptical as well because of check fraud.  I took my FusionCash checkto one to make a deposit and the lady asked me about it, I explained to her what FusionCash is.  There was no trouble afterwards, she just deposited the check as a credit so they could look into it.  Everything proceeded as normal as it should.

Yeah, I can see how a check cashing place would be a little skeptical, and even if the check looks 100% legit might not want to take the risk. Try setting up a bank account or PayPal, that way you can get your money deposited directly. And if any cash checking place asks you again what FC is I would just tell them it's a rebate check. Maybe then they'll have more faith in it.

p.s. I totally thought you were going to say the teller was like I want to sign up, and you gave her your link and got your first referral  ;) :icon_rr:

I've always used paypal to get my cashouts so i have never ran into that problem. On some other sites that i have received checks from i never had any issues depositing them in my bank account.

I have a regular bank account with a national big bank.  So far I deposited two checks with no problems and no questions asked. Also for classification purposes I am in NYC too.

I avoid those check cashing as much as totally possible. They take as much money from you as they can. Went to one myself with a 10.00 check and they wanted to charge me 5.00 just to cash it. Turned around and walked out

There is no text limit on these posts so there is really no reason why you can't use real words and not text abbreviations.

Anyway that is the reason I prefer to stick to paypal or if I get a check I just deposit it into my bank account. You could even get a prepaid card and set up direct deposit on here and it should cause less problems for you in the future.
