I think there should be a system for forum members to remove jerks from here.

You could simply remove yourself from the forums, (instead of making passive-aggressive threads), or use the "ignore" function provided by FC.  Such indirect 'calling-out' threads are inappropriate to the Suggestions forum.  Anyone who refutes you is not a "jerk" except to your ego.

what?

The "ignore" button is your friend.  Embrace it as any ostrich would.

Not really; zoo keepers know ostriches, for instance.

An interesting idea but much like the rest of life, there would almost always be replacements, or those who would just never give up. Thanks Admin, for pointing out the ignore button it may come in handy once in a while, except if there is another Tag game but that would be OK to miss out on if someone you had ignored chose to play, some of those participants could also not help themselves from posting comments as well. You have the patience of a saint.

the book that you are referring to hopefully it is not the bible, It tells you how to treat people like you would yourself, it tells you how you can live with others humans without being mean to each other and it also tells you if you choose to be a mean person what will happen to you. the bible don't hurt anyone, we hurt ourselves.

This gave me a good laugh, I rarely look at anything but the offers section but the 'bickering' on a site where you are, uh here to earn money?? I needed a good chuckle!

What ever happened to RESPECT?! Everyone has a right to express their own opinion and yes we can ignore it. Sometimes thats what you have do. If we would think before we speak and post alot of this would not be an issue. But most importantly if we would think respect first, things would not get out of hand. Just my opinion!

It would be great if all jerks could be removed. However, there are some key things to remember since there will always be people who post things that seem less than friendly when they aren't having a great day and/or regularly post undesirable content:

  • blow it off. You can choose not to be offended. Don't give that person power over your feelings
  • Don't attempt to guess the tone found in online content the way you would in a face-to-face situation. It's much too hard to interpret tone most of the time. Sure, you can figure it out if people are using expletives and certain language.

Since most of us don't know each other in real life, is it worth getting upset or offended? I don't think so. Use that energy somewhere more productive- like making positive  contributions in the forum to get your FREE $3 each month. Even better, donate your time to helping the helpless in your community.

How many jerks actually on here?

Actually there are only 2 or 3, they just get around a lot.
