Out of the box ideas for getting referrals !!

Hello, I'm new and looking to gain more referrals (Arn't we all). Here is 1 out of the box idea I use. I write this message on $10's, $5's and $1 bills (The most commonly transferred bills) "I earned this money at (your referral link here) it works give it a try!" this has gotten me 1 refferal so far. What are some of your out of the box Ideas?

I made a flyer with the banner that shows the amount of money
that I have earned and placed my link in the center of it. I then
plassed the flyer out in the parking lot of our local employment
office. Received 4 referrals from about 50 flyers.

I like the flyer idea. I made 1 yesterday. but dont know where I want to put it.

@Maxinmotion, same here. I hand out flyers at the unemployment office. My first thought was to hand them out at colleges but I feared they'd use the computer lab and that's a no-no because it would be just considered 1 IP/household. I'm trying to find stores and different places that will just allow me to leave'em on the counter because I know if someone grabs one on their own, I'm pretty much guaranteed a referral.

@kicks703, I think that's a great idea, but is it legal? I have to look up the laws of writing on bills before I try it. Also, since I'm not handing the money to anyone but cashiers, I'm afraid it wouldn't be looked at that long other than to count it.

If I try it, I'd probably just write it on one's and five's because they'll be given right back out as change. The larger bills may just sit in the drawer.

I believe oldbuddy use a website where he can order business cards that looks like money. Then, he just advertise whatever it is that he have to offer on those cards and have them mailed to his home. I think its a good way to get people's attention

Send an email to everyone (using BCC) in your Address Book. Include your personal referral link; and mention to them that it costs them nothing to Sign Up ($1 for you) and to Complete One Offer ($2 to you). You could make $30 quickly and easily if just ten people signed up.

I wish that I could help in this topic!  I have 10 referrals and they have only made me a few bucks.  They have just laid down on me and are not doing anything.

All good ideas, I would love to get referrals and have them actually stick to it. I guess not everyone is as enamored with "Free money"

Same issue here.  I've had a few complete their first offer but the rest seem to sign up and then forget about the site.  It's really sad to see your referral number go up but not your balance.

You can try posting your link on Facebook, myspace, twitter, etc. or try blogging about making money and continually posting your referral link throughout your blog. Then promote your blog on forum sites and anywhere else you are able to.
