One of our daughters saw the meteor shower; she got her 10 yr old son up and he watched it too.  He saw about 20 meteors and he really enjoyed the experience.  Our daughter had been outside for a while before she got him up so she saw a lot more than he did.  We live in a heavily wooded neighborhood so even if we had gotten up we probably could not have seen much, if anything at all.  Would love to see it one day.
