My brother is good about paying money back.  My sister sometimes takes a while, and she's usually the one that needs to borrow some.

my older sister never !! kind of upsetting because she is older then me and i have only had a part time job for a year she has for way longer and i am good with money she goes out drinking not giving her any money again

Yes, but it takes them a while to pay me back cause they figure, "We're family, I can take my sweet time giving you your money back".

My siblings always pay me back. Now friends paying me back is another story. I always have to remind friends, so I don't lend money to friends.

My sister always seems to forget that she has borrowed any money and always expects everyone to do things for her when she is her. Always let us know that after all she has traveled 3000 miles to get here. Anymore i just look at her and tell her it is her choice that she is so far away. She has a summer home at the lake that is always needing repairs. I don't do  things anymore for her. Part of her problem is i raised her when she was little and never made her do as much and my mother didn't either. Was just as easy to do it and not listen to her gripe. I think it was the wrong thing to do.

I don't have any siblings, so I can't answer this question.  But I'm sure I would want to help them out if they really needed it whether I were paid back or not.  Of course, if they were always taking advantage of me, the story would be different.  I guess every case would have to be considered individually.

Sigh! My husband's younger brother can be such a jerk to him! He never pays my hubby back and constantly takes advantage of him. I don't understand why my hubby lets him!!!

My sister generally will pay me back.  The only time she doesn't is generally when it's like a dollar or so.  Nothing big though.

The rest of my family is like that though.  My parents will lend money to the rest of our family and it seems like you have to attack them to get any of it back.  One of them borrowed enough for a car and wanted to pay it back $50 a month.  While, in the mean time, they went on a vacation and bought a model train set where each car was $100.  My one aunt (I believe) thinks people owe her money cause she's disabled.  In all honesty though, I think if she got up and walked more than once a day, she wouldn't be disabled.

My siblings rarely ask to borrow money. If they do, it is paid back when they say they can. I have no problem lending them a few $$ here or there if I have it to lend.
