Free Items
« on: August 26, 2012, 08:26:24 am »
I always hear of free items rather it be food, personal, etc...that people get all the time, where do they get the coupons for these free items?  I belong to serveral freebie sites but they are almost always sample, barely have anything in it to "sample"  LOL...Just was wondering...I had seen someone posted about having a cabinet full of grocery they got free...is there a certain place to check for these kind of free goods??

I get lots of free stuff and even make money sometimes by using coupons. Google my username and go to my blog. In the lower left corner, you will see the blog that I go to for my deals. The woman that runs the site does a great job of putting together the deals. She will tell you which coupons to use and stuff like that. She breaks it down by store, so she makes it super easy.

I love free things. I belong to start sampling you can get free samples there. Coupons, surveys, trial things. You also get to save points and get free things. Right now I am saving for a 100.00 visa card.

When you find out let me know.  I think usually what is happening is they buy something and get the other free.  I also have only been able to get samples.  Now there are sites that you can get things from to test and keep, usually they just want an honest review of the product.

You have to learn how to combine coupons when they double or triple with sales and utilize programs like CVS's ECB's or Rite Aid up rewards.  You can combine a  manufacturer's coupon with a store coupon - Target is a good example.  The Target website has coupons good at Target only but they will honor both the Target coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same product; example, a few weeks ago there was a coupon on the Target web site for Axe men's body wash for $2 off; there was also a manufactuer's coupon either in the paper or on the internet for $1 off.  The sale price for Axe was $2.99.  The $2 Target plus the $1 manufacturer's made the item free.   Easiest way to learn is visit some of the websites that have instructions or tutorials on how to shop -  Refund Cents, Coupon Centsation - there are lots of them out there.  It takes some work and planning but it can be done and so worth it.  Some of the freebies that you get in the mail, like on Walmart's size, are sample size but sometimes you can get regular size products from manufacturer's web sites.  I have gotten at least a dozen K-cups in the mail this month, along with single serving boxes of cereal, full size Atkins bars, etc.  Love going to the mailbox when it contains refund checks or free products instead of bills.

I love free stuff.  especially coupons for free grocery items.    It is fun to watch the cashiers when they see my free items coupons, they want to know
where and how I got such a good coupon? I couldn't wait for the mailman to deliver my mail each day. If I got more than 3 freebies in a day my kids would just shake their heads like I was crazy! I used to be much more active in searching for freebies But I am taking 5 online classes now and I just don't have the time.

I get free regular size items with points I get at CVS, Walgreens, Sears, just apply for the program and every time you buy items your points start adding, just make sure they don't expire before you redeem them.

I wish I knew more about couponing and getting free things too. I feel like usually it isn't things I would normally buy and ends up being more expensive than the generic version.
