« on: August 31, 2012, 07:30:58 pm »
Do you have a shopping list when you go shopping?!
Today I went to store, planned to get kiwi and flour but instead I got other stuff and didn't remember them till I put everything away at home!!
I think I need to start having shopping list with me!!

I usually will only make a list when needing 5 or more items.  I can always add-on at the store.

I have attempted to make a list, but I almost never follow my list. I end up going over my budget.

I always take a list. Otherwise I always forget something. And with gas prices the way they are, I try to avoid making multiple trips to the store.

Always shop with a mental list of necessities, and also end up with a few niceties. I don't follow a rigid list, and always buy seasonal veggies and fruits.

I always have a list and next to each item, I put the estimated price in parenthesis next to it so later when I'm in the store---I have an idea of how much the item should cost to stay within my budget.  If the item costs way more than I estimated, it stays at the store.  I've gone shopping without a list before and I overspent and brought home unnecessary items every single time...and then had to go back to buy items I had forgotten.  I can't go shopping without a list.

I use a shopping list for things I definitely need and wouldn't remember, but I still buy impulse items also.

These days I have to use a list. My budget is set and I can't go one item overboard.

No, I don't use a list.  I also just like to wing it while in the store.  What really seems to be cool to me is when I have seen new products in the store that were subjects of these surveys I have taken.  That gives me a little chuckle.

Yes I use a shopping list because of this same reason you want 2 items when you leave the house and buy other things and not the things you went there for. :BangHead: :D

that would be a great idea but did you notice you still remembered to get other things and not this item? Just sounds like something you did not need in terms of having things to eat or fill your pantry.

I am starting to have to create a shopping list whenever I go out to go shopping because I find myself always forgetting to get the things I need and instead get the things my eyes are telling me to.
