Yes, 30 CONTRIBUTORY posts or replies.  Basically, that is that anywhere you are contributing to the conversation counts as one.  A simple yes/no answer or one-word answers in the word chains may not be counted as contributory.  A good example may be in a thead discussing "Do you have siblings?"...if you simply reply yes that may or may not be countable.  But to talk a little bit about your brothers and sisters contributes to the conversation.  Now, there is a flip side to that coin.  We all seem to be pretty friendly here but of course be prepared in normal conversation for others to be human and disagree with you.  And once you have thirty then you can click on the link above to get paid for something so simple.  Just another reason FC ROCKS!

In the contests and promotion threads, most of those do not count (like word chains, weekly promotions, etc). They will not even add to your count.

Definitely if you post once or twice a day with contributory posts then it is relatively easy to reach the goal of 30 per month. It is usually easier to do it day by day rather than wait until the last few days as the other comments generally are not so contributory towards the end of the month as it becomes obvious that some are merely posting to reach their numbers, far better to be ahead of the game plus if you have a few extras that is good as well in case any are considered not contributory. But then once you have your 30 you need to remember to complete the submission form and remember even though we post and the 30 count cuts off every month you may bot be credited within 30 days of submission, it can take longer sometimes up to 60 or 65 days, would have to re read the guidelines but more often than not, FC is on top of things and posts the credits sooner, however should it not be posted sooner, the guidelines provide that they are covered as to the time frame. Just accept it whenever it shows up.
