What a great thread and some excellent answers!  Fall to me brings up visions of hayrides and weenie roasts, having to wear jackets and snuggling under blankets at football games.  There is nothing better than taking a long fall walk to smell the smells and see the exquisite beauty of fall foliage and wildflowers.  Maple tree leaves are the best!!!  I love the fall decorations, pots of geraniums, pumpkins, bales of hay and scarecrows.  I keep a pan of cinnamon and cloves simmering on the stove to fill the house with those delicious smells.  I love anything pumpkin and Fall brings back Baskin Robbins pumpkin ice cream and Starbuck's pumpkin lattes!  Yum!
