New pdc format
« on: September 22, 2012, 06:46:56 pm »
I haven't been on for a while. Lots of things to do.

So when I did the paid to click offer today I was pleasantly surprised by the new format on the horoscope and weather pages. My horoscope came right up. I didn't have to click on my sign and wait for it to load. And the accu weather. WOW! :o It had my local radar, and not just the weather for tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow day. I'm loving it!!!

Excellent job Fusion Cash!!!

I agree that the new weather is quite nice but I don't care much for the new Entertainment.  Additionally, in the daily offers section, the PTC offer seems to be the only one that doesn't open in a new tab and I miss that because I usually go back to the offers after dong the PTC :(

I really enjoy the new pages as well.   Much clearer to read.   ;D

Hey - thank you for the feedback on the Entertainment panel.  We're still testing the waters on that.  Do you have any suggestions?  What do you miss about the old Entertainment section?

As for the same-page loading of PTC it's unfortunately necessary due to a weird IE&Firefox bug.

I liked that I didn't have to scroll in order to decide if a story was one that interested me - just move my mouse over each item and preview a little bit of the story.  Not a real big deal but I did prefer the old way.

Instead of just clicking on the PTC offer, right click on it and select open in new tab. I've been doing it this way since the change.

I like the new look of it.  The FC website overall is very functional however the look overall seems a bit dated. I know it is not good to mess with something if it works.  It is just hard to attract new people to the site with a dated looking interface. Also keeping exisiting customers happy and not lost in the dust is also tricky. A fine balance to walk but accomplished nicely on the new daily PTC.

I too love the new look of the PTC page.  It was a pleasant surprise.  The weather page finally remembers where I am!  Yea.  I got tired of resetting it every time.  I miss being able to check yesterday's horoscope.  I'd also like the PTC page opening in a new window, without me having to remember to right click.  I also noticed some new sponsored ads to check out, cool.  Thanks FC.

I have been out of town for a week and have not been able to log into Fusion Cash. I love the new look of Paid To Click. I had to look more than twice at first. It took more than a moment to get used to it since I had no idea there had been a change.

I'm not the person who originally made this comment, but I'd rather have the story snippets at the top than the entertainment photos. I'm not interested in seeing Lady Gaga wearing a fur coat, but I always found something interesting in the stories. There was a good mix of more "news-y" entertainment stories like Neil Armstrong dying along with the rest.

The ad in between the two is very large also. Not sure how much you can change that though.

Also want to add that Horoscope section always loaded waaaaay down the page for me and out of whack with the rest of the text, and now it's fine.

Yeah I like the new format also.  Especially that the horoscope comes up right away with mine on top.  Don't have to look for it anymore.  But the new way the entertainment page comes up to me is not an improvement.  I really liked the old way better.
