Before washing it apply olive oil and let it set for at least a minute or two. When applying the shampoo scrub for awhile to stimulate your roots. Get plenty of nutrition and drink lots of water.

I totally agree with you. I wanted my hair to grow back faster so I bought this product named "Softee" and it is a type of oil and when I would put it in my hair I would rub my head for a while and surpringly it actually did help my hair grow back faster!  :)

Personally, I've had some success using Rogaine, but it certainly doesn't give immediate results (at least for me) and it does tend to be a bit expensive to keep up with it.  I'll have to try some of the other suggestions offered -- anything's worth a shot!

If you can get away with washing it less, try that.  I wash my hair every 2-3 days and it grows really quick apparently (all my friends says it grows really quickly).  I know some people can wait to wash it longer while others need to wash it daily, so this really isn't an option for everyone, but it seems to work for me.

Since hair is protein, I'd assume that eating more protein would help, but I'm not sure.  Good nutrition should help, but I don't know for certain.

Could always try taking a multivitamin and see if that helps, could be you're missing one of the key components that grows hair and that's why it's taking longer to grow.  Again, don't know for sure though.

Oil will help.  I'd suggest eating it as well as putting it in your hair.  Some Italian restaurants will give you bread and oil before a meal, so something like that can be a great way to get the oil into your system.  I'd recommend Extra Virgin Olive Oil for both applications.  It's also great to use instead of moisturizer after a shower to keep your skin soft.  Anyway though, get a shower cap or something when you put it in your hair otherwise it can get everywhere.

I'm also interested in this as I'm going bald on my temples, but only one side  :BangHead:, might give rogaine a shot.
