Rating with stars

Can someone tell me how you get your posts rated to get the 5 stars.  I try to put stars on other people's posts.  Maybe someone will put some on mine.

The only time I ever rate a post is when it is really important. I'll give it 5 stars in hopes that people will read it because it probably helped me too. If you look in the upper right corner under reply you will see a drop down box to select the number of stars for a post. 

Oh yeah and this post should probably be in the Fusion Cash thread not the Payment thread, since it has nothing to do with payments.

what good is it to rate?  and how can i pull up the current post?  everytime i go to read post I get month old post, why doesnt show newest first?

Oh wow I didnt even know you could rate a post with the stars, I assumed those were for number of views or replies.. Well now I know to pay attention to the ratings to see good posts, and also now know to rate the ones I find helpful.

Lol....I never even noticed the stars until I just read this...Some people have so many of them near there post...I also have no clue how to rate them.
