Direct Deposit worked just fine for me when I tried it.
Some people are leary of giving out their bank information, but I never considered that a real problem.

There was 2 issues, minor, that made me shift back to PAYPAL.

1.My bank doesn't notify me when I get a deposit, but PAYPAL does.  FC does notify me when the cash out is approved so at least I'd have a heads up notice that the deposit is coming if I went DD again.

2. FC transfers the funds on/about the 20th of the month, but bank timing as to when the funds are available to withdraw may be a couple of days later.   Don't seem to have that issue with PAYPAL, but then I've never put that to the test.

If FC ever decided to encourage members to go the Direct Deposit route and gave us an incentive to shift from PAYPAL to DD, I'd probably shift back to DD.  (There was a thread on this topic several months ago, but I haven't seen a change in policy yet.)

For me normally with Paypal, I receive my money the same day Fusion Cash puts it there and available right away. I don't know if it depends on what type of account you have or how long you had your Paypal account. But normally I get it the same day Fusion Cash puts the money there.  :peace:

How do you get your money out of paypal? Doesn't that require them to transfer it to your bank account? If so, wouldn't it be faster to just have FC deposit direct in you bank account ..... I have been thinking about DD too but haven't set it up yet ... still getting a check the old fashioned way  :dontknow:

I use Paypal because I'm leery of giving out my account information, even though I don't think I'd have a problem with Fusion Cash.  I have an debit card through Paypal and they money is always available almost as soon as they notify me it's depositied.  I can't remember what you have to go through to get the card though as it's been a while.  I don't think it costs anything but I think there are some hoops to jump through.

I used to have mine direct deposited, but switched to PayPal because I was more comfortable with that. Plus, I often use PayPal to buy things online. Then, the money comes out of there instead of my checking account or credit card.

You can find me on Youtube!

I used to have mine direct deposit as well and also switched to paypal.  i can use it eaier and already have many of the places i shop linked directly to my paypal account.  But there is nothing wrong with having it direct deposited.
