Christmas Shopping
« on: October 13, 2012, 11:23:52 am »
Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet?  I don't start until November but I've got a friend who is 90% done and will be completely done & wrapped by Thanksgiving!  :BangHead: I don't even have ideas yet!

No thank you! I guess I am traditional. I don't ever start until after thanksgiving. I normally go after Dec 1 to do my shopping.

I think I will do most of my Christmas shopping online this year, as well.  I used to start early in the year, but by Christmas I would forget where I had put them.  I have found Christmas presents in closets and under beds weeks and months after Christmas.

I have about half a dozen presents bought.  Nowhere close to where I should be but--it's a start.  I've also gotten a few things made.

i have several things set aside for christmas that
i've picked up along the way. i just do it throughout
the year whenever i have extra funds or see something
for someone that i just can't pass up. this way, there's
no big bite taken out of my checking account in december
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

:angel11:I try to get my Christmas shopping just after Thanksgiving.  I sometime start after the sales after Christmas but did not this year.  Maybe when things goes on sale the first of the year I can get most of it done.  Hope everyone has a good week.  May God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I will also be shopping online...  :D
Also only shopping store that link through sites.. like FusionCash's Mall.

Here is an idea.
How about buying craft items.. from a home crafter..   :angel11:

Beautiful items.. good value... made well.. made here in the USA.. supports local crafters..   ;)

I have one or two presents bought, but I usually am a last minute shopper. I only buy gifts early when I happen to see something that would be perfect for a particular person.

Every year I wait until the last minute but I'm happy to say that this year I have started early and I feel really good about it.   ;)
