Automatically Lock Old Threads

I totally agree with you about old threads on old offers, but sometimes it may be hard at the beginning of each new month to come up with new topics to discuss that haven't been done to death.  Sometimes old threads (not offer ones) can be used to just come up with ideas for a new discussion on an old idea.  Discussion threads, then, may be a good idea to be left available.

But, while on this subject, I know, of course, that as FC freshens up the site with new offers that old ones go away.  Sometimes, though, I do wish we had more say on what offers we lose.  Cheapflights was awesome.  I never got the chance to participate in a tag game.  Yeah, some of them I wish would come back, but it's also great to come in and find all the new like the paid to call and other new offers.

I just think, overall though, that FC is awesome and have total respect for the Admin here and what they do day in and day out.  It has to be a rough job, but appreciated.

To Admin,

   Thank you so much for shortening the time frame. It should make it a lot easier for newbies to find information and for that matter even some of us old timers. It should also improve the search feature as well and make your job of answering questions a lot easier as well. Well done, hopefully by the spring or early summer the forum should start appearing a lot cleaner and less cluttered. That will be great for all involved.
