I think Nicki Minaj is one of those artists you either love or hate.  I actually love her because she raps and sings.  Usually a singer sacrifices one for the other and because she can do both, and does both that’s what makes her different and why she is so popular.  I mean that’s why I like her so much.

Hi! I agree, Nicki is a rare breed. However, drake also sings and raps...and does it very well. When artists like jah rule and Lauryn Hill sang and rapped they were looked down upon. smh. Guess the world wasn't ready. I'm happy they are now.

I mostly listen to country music.  I love most music except rap.  I love beach music and music from the 50's and 60's.

I listen to all types of genres. But my favorite is country and pop. Rap just isn't my thing, so much violence in the world today, the music isn't helping.

I don’t mind R&B but I just can’t take Alessia Cara and her song Here.

I really like Hailee Steinfeld with  Love Myself.  I know it’s one of those cheesey pop songs with a message like Rachael Platten’s fighter but it’s got a nice modern-day rhythm.

Really loving OMI.  Between his ‘Cheerleader’ and ‘Hula Hoop’ he creates these feel good songs that remind me of Bobby McFerrin and his Don't Worry Be Happy.  No matter how many times you hear his music you always smile.  They rhythm is just soft and light and the lyrics just flow so smoothly.  Unlike other artists that make rather ‘heavy’ music, OMI’s got that light summertime feel.  I hope his next album is just as good as his first.

Every time I I watch the Music video to Sugar (feat. Francesco Yates) by Robin Schulz I can’t help but laugh.  I don’t know which I like more the actual song or the cop driving all crazy down the roads.

Just discovered Little Mix’s Black Magic.  I love it!  I’ve always been a fan of their music from the start but Black Magic is my ‘new’ favorite song by them.  I play both the original and the Cahil mix.  Both are great.

Just heard Meghan Trainor’s Title song.  It’s amazing!  She soo needs to release it as a single!
