I can't wait til Dish Network offers twilight part 2.  I would like to own all of the twilight series.  There is a total of 5 movies in the series.  I know that the last one is playing in theaters but I can't afford to go see it so I am waiting until it is avail on dish than I can watch it in the comfort of my own home and not worring about people desturbing me.  I wonder if they will have a special where you can buy them all at one time, that would be so nice.  What I like about these movies is its a little dangerous, romatic and about vampires.  I always like to watch vampire movies.

I'm too looking forward to Iron Man 3 in April. I just saw James Bond Skyfall, it's the best James Bond so far I think.

I also would put The Avengers at the top of my favorite movies for 2012.  I didn't make it out to as many movies this year as I usually would.  I do want to see the new Bond film while it is still in theaters.

I agree, I can't wait for Iron Man 3! Avengers was at the top of my list this year. I also can't wait to see the Hobbit.

I think I'm starting to get "Ironed" out.  However, I think the rest of the US is still ready for more.  Iron Man 3 will be a big hit...

Though I am not a big fan of vampire movies and only have Interview with a Vampire (only because it was Brad Pitt against Tom Cruise) and the underworld set (because I like Kate Beckinsale), I finally got around to watching Fright Night.  It came out right after Star Trek so people would know who Anton Yelchin is (the Russian guy who plays Pavel Chekov, the character originally played by Walter Koenig) since Collin Farrell needs no explination.  While Yelchin is not bad to watch, I so agree with everyone in the write-up.  Collin is awesome as a vampire and should do it more often.  Not for anything I enjoy him more as a villian than I do as a hero.

So I got the remake of Total Recall because I have the arnold schwarzenegger version.  While the special effects way surpass the fake prostetics of the 90’s and they ditched the whole trip to Mars thing, I have to say I was not impressed with Collin Farrell’s performance and his role could have gone to any actor.  Not to say I was disappointed since I like watching Farrell, but it wasn’t one of those ‘only he could have done it’ type of things.  I mean when we talk about Arnold his version is a movie only he could have done.  That is to say it is an Arnold movie.  What I will say about the remake is that Kate Beckinsale in Sharon Stone’s evil bad girl role totally stole the movie.  And against Jessica Biel (Mrs. Justin Timberlake for who knows how long), Kate was devastatingly awesome.  But then with Underworld and Van Helsing, when has she failed to be devastatingly awesome in an action flick?

I bought Legend of the Guardians when it first came out because of the computer graphics.  It was a beautifully done…cartoon (if we still call computer generated stuff that).  But after recently watching it I have to say the storyline is absolutely brilliant.  It’s based on a set of novels and I think it does do the books justice.  It’s also refreshing to see a storyline that isn’t a ‘remake’ or ‘retelling’ of something already done.

While I am not a huge fan of Adam Sandler I sat through Bulletproof (the comedy in which he pairs with damon wayans.  I have to be honest and say I enjoyed it.  I believe I enjoyed it because it was a damon wayans comedy not an Adam Sandler comedy.  Though Adam Sandler did be his typical ‘Peter Pan’ self, the overall tone was clearly geared for Wayans.  Which I am glad it was because I loved his tv show My wife and kids.

I realized I watched a lot of Josh Hutcherson movies lately, Polar Express, Zanthura: a space adventure, Bridge to Terabithia, RV, Journey to the center of the earth etc. But I have yet to see him in a role that shows his full potential.  Not that is acting range hasn’t been stretched.  Zanthura and Bridge to Terabithia certainly do that, but I still have yet to be impressed and fear that a lot of audiences feel the same way.  And if he doesn’t find a movie that will show the great acting ability it is clear he does have, I am a afraid his career will die out as he gets older.  Haley Joel Osment anyone?

Just watched Race to Witch Mountain.  (The remake with Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson.) and I have to say that between Alexander Ludwig’s Seth character or Cato in Hunger Games I will take Cato any day.  It’s the role I think that proves Ludwig has a movie career.  While Seth wasn’t an easy role since maintaining certain ‘facial’ motions to bring his character to life is somewhat a rare acting form these days and he does it flawlessly, Cato is hard, believable and definitely a role I couldn’t see another child actor playing.  Certainly not Josh Hutcherson whose love struck Peeta Mellark seems to be the sappy roles he likes picking up.
