Debit Cards
« on: November 02, 2012, 09:11:25 am »
I am new to Fusion Cash.  I tried to do the Dr. Seuss offer but my debit card was declined.  I have enough funds available.  Does this mean they do not take debit cards?

It should work if you are using a bank-issued debit card. If it was declined, you'll need to contact your financial institution that issued you the debit card to resolve this. IF you are using prepaid debit cards, chances are it may not work unless you are using a pre-paid credit card instead. Gift Cards will not work.

My check card is through Wells Fargo. They decline internet stuff, frequently. the problem is that a lot of the merchant counts resolve "offshore". I think that the Dr. suess might be in the UK. The bank called me on one of those offers and wondered about it.

Another thing, make sure that all of your contact info is synched on your credit cards and bank account. Sometimes the computers in the "money store" lag behind updates.
I had a problem when the bank had an old address on account and the online info was up to date.

I don't think it was registering as a pre-paid card but it is not a exactly a bank issued debit card...it is the one from Social Security.  I think if it does not allow a revolving monthly charge amount then they decline it whether it be pre-paid, gift, or S.S. card.

Are prepaid cards not allowed at all for any offers?

I know that my debit card from social security gets rejected alot but it does go thru on some offers.  There is no way of telling which will go thru in advance.  You just have to try each one individually.
