I put mine in a can and when the can gets full I put it in the garbage.  I would like to find something else to do with it but have not found a way to recycle it.  I have looked to find different things to do so that I could recyle buy have not found anything around

Because of the diet I am on, we re-use our bacon grease and fats.

I just pour it in the trash when it's cool enough not to start a fire.  But my boyfriend just pours it down the drain! I cannot believe he has never seriously clogged up his sink!

I pour bacon, beef or any unusable grease down the toilet.

I save and reuse the bacon grease. Although I don't feel it is the healthiest thing to use I do like the taste of it.  Beef grease, I do not reuse that I just pout it down the garbage disposal with a little dish washing liquid and hot water so it will not clog it up.

Ikeep some bacon grease in a jar in the frige great to use with some greens. The rest goes into old jars or cans with lids along with the paper towels i clean with. Never ever put any kind of grease down your drains. It could get very costly to get them cleaned.

I had to purchase two stainless steel cans with strainers on them for my fish grease and chicken grease.  Beef grease I throw away by running some hot water in the sink and pouring it down.  It does not serve a purpose for me. ;D :peace:

I keep a coffee can under the sink that fits down inside an old ceramic planter (so grease doesn't get on the bottom of the cabinet.)  Since there are no metal coffee cans anymore, you need to be careful that the grease is cool.  I also wipe out the pan with the used napkins from breakfast and put those in the trash.  Just a small amount of grease can clog your pipes so I try to put as little as possible down the drain with the dishwater.
