Do you think the NFL should of forced the Kansas City Chief/Carolina game?

I am not too far from where this happened...probably less than 15 miles. Jovan Belcher shot his girlfriend, then went to a faculty and called the gm and head coach, when the cops came he killed himself. This was done right in front of the coach..The coach has to coach the game tomorrow, I think this is crazy..how can you coach a game the day after you watched one of your players shoot themselves before your very eyes? What is this world coming to? where football takes presedence over human life? Geeze!!

I don't think the NFL forced them to play the game. It was discussed among the team captains, coaches and the NFL. At some point you have to
go forward! So it was a group of people who wanted to play the game! Life goes on!

yeah, the coaches decided to go on with the game, didn't want to make the fans mad, I guess you don't know who you are going to make mad anymore. Kansas City fans have been ticked off at the game since the losing streak this year, guess they didn't want to step on any toes...

News reports in the Kansas City area said that it was the team that wanted to play the game rather than sit around thinking about what happened.

yes, i heard it wasnt forced either.  they probably wanted to play to get their minds off of it.
