Okay - so is the hype about this baby a little over the top? It's exciting news, but seriously....

I agree.  Who cares that she is pregnant?  No other pregnant women are getting world wide attention.

Hi,
I could not agree more.  It is sad that the royal baby is considered news, yet the more important world events are not given any coverage by the television news networks.  This makes no sense to me.  I get the news by reading United Press International each day.

Its amazing that women are being hopitalized for morning sickness these days! Where has all this help been for decades for all the other women who have been pregnant since the world began???  Hummmmm

There are thousands, perhaps millions of pregnant women in the world. What makes this one so special?

Who cares is my thoughts. I never really cared for their way of life and feel it is just a fairy tale story. Those are my thoughts. Many women have babies and many go through rough times during. Women have been having babies for centuries. This one is not special to me. May they have a healthy baby.

Oh...I think it's great.  I've never really cared that much about the royal family but I loved Diana..her boys are great and Kate is a delight.  I love the royal family is becoming less stuffy and more like regular people.

It's just like the new is - Gossip!! They don't care about the economy or Syria ready to bomb their people with siren gas but, they make a big thing about the next in line for the King of England's offspring. Have they forgotten we are no longer a possession of England??? On the other hand, it is a big thing for England, this Child is Royalty, and they take their Royal Family very seriously!!

Well, of course it's over the top!!!  After all it's ROYAL news!!!  It seems that whenever it is about the "Royals" the news will continue to go on and on about whatever the story happens to be at the time.  Although, I like hearing about them I think the media does get a bit carried away.  Anyway, I hope the Dutchess is feeling better and congrats to them both!!!!!

I have to agree with most - who really cares that she's going to have a baby.  What's all the hype about the "royal" family anyway - what have they ever done that makes them "important" except being born into that family  And being in the hospital for morning sickness......really, you've got to be kidding!  Do you have any idea how full hospitals would be if every mother to be went in for morning sickness??

News about the Royal family only seems relevant to those who have followed the family as the rulers of England since Queen Elizabeth's father was king and before. It is just a nice fantasy that most people seem to enjoy holding on to although they are purely symbolic and really don't have any real significance today. I don't think they want all the attention they get.

I agree!...The funny thing is, I didn't even know she was pregnant until today, LOL...I could care less about the "royals". I only liked Princess Diana and she's gone now, soooo.

I think it is great that she is having a baby, but so are millions of other women. Now that it has been announced lets get on with what is happening in our country. And please let it be some good news.

The English love it so if it makes them happy, it doesn't bother me.
