yeah, online is usually cheaper where I live, and saves gas money from driving places.

When I started Christmas shopping 'way back at the end of August (taking advantage of end-of-summer clearace doncha know) I picked up things in the store.  Any shopping I've done since October has been online, and especially now since the prices are good and the shipping is mostly free.  I simply love the convenience and the flexibility of shopping online, in addition to avoiding the crowds and saving on gas.  I still grocery shop in person--and probably will continue to do so--but for almost everything else the online thing works well for me.

I'm not a mall rat and buy almost everything on line, mostly from eBay, but you have to make sure they give the exact measurements instead of just small, medium, large, etc.

It depends where you shop. Many things (such as household cleaners and groceries) are way more expensive than shopping in your store would be. Also, high shipping rates can really do a number on something cheap.

I agree that you can find some really good deals online but sometimes you have to go to the store to see what you are buying.

Online is more often cheaper then traditional brick and mortar stores. You can get free shipping and allot of places now as well.

We were shopping for my twin grandsons and trying to find them some jeans. I didn't like the prices they had in the store so I checked online and believe it or not they were cheaper online than in the store and that includes shipping also. So I will probably shop online form now on.

I know what you mean - I have one grandson and let alone the prices are ridiculous the quality of half of the merchandise leaves a lot to be desired.  My only thought when shopping online is I really don't know what the quality is/isn't so I would tend to shy away from online shopping.  The only time I take a chance is if I can return them easily and if I can return them to a local branch of the store that's even better!!!!  Good luck I hope you get some great jeans!!!
