Going away for Christmas Traveling
« on: December 10, 2012, 07:01:23 am »
How many of you will take a trip and spend Christmas with family and friends somewhere out of the town or state you live in?  Just curious as to have many will be traveling for Christmas.  Please answer and tell where you're going.  Thank you

No replies.  Is no one going to travel for Christmas?

It would be nice to do. To get away from the familiar and go to the unfamiliar.  Tell me how do you post new post.  I am a newbie and I can only respond.

I wish I was doing some travelling, but the only travelling I will be doing is driving about five miles to my parents' house for festivities.  I guess travelling could be good or bad.  We travelled about two hours to my sister's house for Thanksgiving and it was a nice holiday, but it was kind of exhausting having to cook and drive there and back that day.  Most of the day was spent on the road.  Hope others are going somewhere fun!

I will be going to my daughter's house for Christmas.  She lives about 100 miles away from me.

we have to travel tonight, just after a blizzard hit us this morning, not looking forward to driving in all of this, don't have the money for gas really, just want all of this to be over with.

All my family has always lived so close to me. I've never had to travel far. I would love to actually travel with my family for the holidays though and spend a different kind of holiday with them..I think that might be the plan for next Christmas

My spouse and I don't really celebrate xmas, so no trips for us.  However a friend of ours is going on holiday to FL, and asked us to fill in at her company, so money is being made during the holidays and that's always helpful.

I really don't travel over Christmas. I usually do over New Years though.
