I saw someone mention Ebay is and earlier post and thought I'd talk about another great site I love!

Has anyone visited Etsy before? I'm a bit addicted to it!

The entire site is handcrafted designs by talented people from all over the world. There's a lot of jewelry, but there's also lots of other variety-- clothing, trinkets, t-shirt designs, wall decals, knit and crochet toys and blankets, glassware, candles, felt and paper florals, perfumes, etc. I just bought some really cute Christmas ornaments off a seller there!

Just thought I'd share the love if you've never heard of it before. It's a great way to support the crafting community  :D

I have visited Etsy before. Pretty soon, I am going to start making jewelry pretty soon and I plan on posting some of it on Etsy to sell. My sister-in- law got into making jewelry and we were talking about going into business together.

I must agree Etsy is a cool site, especially if you're into "hand-crafted" items.  I think a lot of the stuff that is sold on this site is a whole lot better than anything on E-bay.

I'm going to look at etsy soon sounds interesting. I've joined listia so far so good kind of like ebay but you get credits when you sell and costs credits to buy.I have sold some old postcards didn't think anyone would want but they do . Alot of people offer free shipping even on big things i thought i'd start small things that could fit in an envelope .

Never been to this site, but I think it sounds cool. I like  the idea of hand crafted gifts.

I'm considering putting my handcrafts up there.

I saw a film about their headquarters.  They have decorated the entire space with handcrafts from their crafters.  I mean desks and everything.  They even got hand-knitted covers for their overhead pipes.  They don't have desk phones, but instead have small phone rooms with different themes.  Looks like a cool place to work.

I sell on etsy and ebay. I like etsy better, mostly because of the lower fees. I do wish they had a bulk listing program.

I have a few things listed on Etsy, but I've only made one sale. I don't like the site that much, because unless you have a whole lot of items listed, you don't get any notice. I was hoping it would be like ebay, and you could sell something even if you only have a few listings, but that's just not the case. If you are crafting for a business, then it's probably pretty good, but for a hobby crafter, not so much.

Yes, I agree, Etsy is a nice site. I plan to put stuff on that site. Not stuff I make but stuff other people have made. I am in the process of moving now so it will be awhile.
