Lower Gas Prices- Just in time for holiday travel!

The gas right now is $2.99. hoping it will continue to drop.

Ohio's around $2.99 but I guess they're lowering government food money for people in the next year because gas prices are so low

I'm happy they dropped gas prices! It's kinda like a Happy Holiday's from the gas company!

Funny I went in town earlier and it was 2.32
About an hour later I went back to town and it was 3.69 

It will go up the day before Christmas Eve.

The lowest I've seen gas in my town in the last couple of days was $3.14.  When I was growing up, gas was $.20 a gallon!!!  Can you believe that!

I don't remember paying 20 cents per gallon, but I do remember paying less than a dollar/gallon! Seems like yesterday!

What a great Christmas present!  Our town has the highest gas prices in the area; when we go to the "big cities" in the area, gas prices have been as much as 12 cents/gallon cheaper.  There are a lot of advantages to living in a small town, but gas prices are not one of those perks.  Still, I would not trade places... love my small town of less than 6000 people.

I wouldn't want to move to a big city, either. I live in a rural area. I even have 24 chickens!

I do travel to a nearby big city often enough to get the big city gas prices. I plan my gas fill-ups around traveling to "town."

Well in the city I live in here in California the gas prices have not changed much they are at 3.50 to 3.89 a gallon. Not much difference, I guess Ca for got to give us a break. LOL

Isn't it great.  I also use the Fuel Rewards from the grocery store and usually save a penny or two per gallon.  It all helps to much.
