We also had nontraditional this year;  cheese dip made with crumbled sausage, Velveeta and Rotel chile tomatoes, roasted veggies, little smokies wrapped in croissants, hot wings.  Summer sausage, sharp cheddar, apple slices, and cracked pepper triscuits for evening snack.  White chocolate macadamia nut cookies for dessert.

I know what Christmas is all about but I focus so much on family time, I have 3 brothers, 8 sisters, and my parents are aging. My brother died a couple of years ago due to pancreatic cancer so family time is very important.

Normally we do a huge family meal,
but this year we didn't get to.
Growing family has too many commitments.
We had pasta and nacho soup on Christmas Eve
and Italian Beef on Christmas Day.

My family does very simple appetizer foods for Christmas and we eat around lunch time. The past 2 years I have gone by my boyfriend for dinner for Christmas and it's more sit down but I like the difference in our families and how they celebrate. It's still very relaxing for both of us though

Order Chinese food. You can enjoy and have no mess to clean up.

As usual, our chrostmas dinner was awesome. Rice with gravey, macaroni & cheese, greens with ham chucks, yams, cornish hens.
