do adults name there dogs weird names

My dog is named Sophie.  I'm an adult and I don't think that is weird at all!

  Well, my dog's name is "baby" and that might seem weird to some people I guess....however when I went to see her for the first time, she was the size of a gerbil and fit in the palm of your hand and right away I just called her baby.  She is a 9lb shih tzu and is 3 yrs old and that is her personality.  She loves me (her mommy) lol and wants me to hold her all the time.......and lol she sleeps with me.

I like short names for a dog and I like them to be people names...Once in awhile I think names like fluffy or spots is cute but I mainly like people names...Lucy, Molly, Max, Mickey....

some people just like being unique and using the ordinary names can get boring. that may be a reason why animals get called weird stuff.

  i cant say i have ever did that or think that is weird.. i have always had pets and gien them all names..

My dogs name is Kenpo and have a kitten named Jitsu ( It's a martial arts thing )
