Well, I'm Making a Shrimp dish to take to My Family On New Year's Day. I' have the Shrimp dish in the oven

I'm from PA and our tradition is ALWAYS on New Year's Day pork roast and sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes.

Last night we had smoked turkey, steamed buttered cabbage and blackeyed peas with bacon. Am sure we will be having the leftovers today.

We usually have black eyed peas, collard greens and some type of meat usually chicken but we just had left overs last night. Nothing special.
