I like the taste of bananas but some sources suggest they may be harmful.

Don't know where you got this information, but bananas are very healthy for you.  They are an excellent source of potassium which aids in muscle relaxation (necessary if you do any kind of strength training), and is a great source of quick energy for workouts.

I'm sure if you ate 100 bananas a day for several years, it would be "unhealthy" - but most people rarely can eat more than 2 at any one time.

It depends on who's eating them and who you ask.  Some people have a problem with bananas due to being diabetic and/or having a food sensitivity.  Blood type A, B and AB individuals typically do great eating a banana.  Blood type O people might run the other direction.

That being said, we all know that bananas are a great source of potassium, enzymes because they are "live" food and fiber.  They're also low in sodium.

Try it.  You might like it and if you don't you can always make a different choice next time.
Have a great day!

I guess it depends on your physical makeup.

Yes I eat them nearly everyday, sometimes I freeze them and then mix them with other fruits in the blender.

Depends on the person. For most people its fine, so unless someone has some outlying medical condition I don't see how anyone can say Bananas are generally unhealthy.

Like all things, though, don't over do it. Too much intake of any substance will eventually become harmful.

??? Banana's are the bomb.  I don't think anything in moderation is harmful but what do I know.  I think all foods were created to be eaten and enjoyed - but whatever people think is their business but for me I am eating banana's.

They are good source for you but, they contain alot of sugar.  I know some people eat them daily for potassium.  Just be careful especially if your a diabetic.
